What Does it mean to be AAHA Accredited, and Why is it Important for Your Pet?

AAHA ACCREDITATION: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORDINARY AND EXTRAORDINARY
AAHA-accredited hospitals are Champions for Excellent Care. They hold themselves to a higher standard (up to 900 higher standards, in fact). Pets are their passion, and keeping them healthy is their number-one priority. They strive to deliver excellent care for pets—because pets deserve nothing less.

AAHA Standards of Accreditation
AAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the United States and Canada. Practices that accept the challenge of accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical record keeping—and are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession.

Today, only 12%–15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation.

Why choose AAHA accreditation?
AAHA accreditation improves patient care and practice culture, fosters a sense of community, and provides the resources practices need to succeed.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us so we can assure you that your pet is receiving the utmost quality care.
